Why are Teeth so Important?
Teeth make more of a lasting impression than any other facial feature. For around 30% of people it’s the first thing they notice. The first thing that most people zone in on when assessing a potential partner is their teeth.
An attractive smile has a positive effect on one’s career, social life, and overall self esteem.
Research has shown that even infants are drawn to people with attractive smiles more than to those generally perceived as unattractive.
The appreciation of beauty is uniquely human capability and plays a central role in
all our lives. Beauty is seen through a person’s smile.
Now you know why this is important. I’ll talk about what options are available to help you achieve a beautiful smile.
How can you Have a Great Smile
The simplest and most cost effective place to start for many people is tooth whitening.
If your teeth are a bit uneven or perhaps you have one tooth longer than the others or with uneven edges you need to look at re-contouring or dental bonding.
For people whose teeth are crooked you can have your teeth straightend using orthodontic procedures.
Silver fillings can make even a pretty smile unattractive. Simply replacing these with tooth coloured, “White” fillings can transform your appearance.
If you have lost a tooth or two, this will have a significant impact on the overall look of your smile, not to mention making eating uncomfortable, missing teeth can be replaced using dentures, implants or a bridge.
Using porcelain crowns and veneers can improve the shape, length and shade of your teeth. If you have teeth that are too short, too thick, too thin, misaligned, possibly combined with orthodontic procedures can sort it all out for you.
Combining these procedures in a manner which is optimised for you and customised to your needs will make you look younger and more attractive as well as improving the way you feel about yourself and how you are perceived personally and professionally.

"Best dentist I have ever gone to!"
Very professional yet nice and friendly. My mouth looks so much better and that all in calm and warm atmosphere. I was given and explained NHS and all private options, no pushing no insisting. Very happy, will go back (I was recommended to go to this dentist by my friend). They are worth every penny! Would recommend to everyone!
"Makes Me Enjoy Going to the Dentist"
The atmosphere is so lovely and calm and you don't feel rushed or pressured. I actually find going there pleasurable, not full of dread. I know that the cost will be reasonable, the treatment professional and the pain minimised.
"Best Decision I Ever Made!"
I had veneers fitted at Riverhead Dental Practice 3 years ago. It was the best decision I have ever made and the outcome was even better then anticipated. I feel very confident about my smile. I did it on the interest free arrangement which worked out very well. If I needed any other "major" treatment I would not hesitate to use the practice again. Also the follow up treatment is excellent and the hygienist that I see on a Saturday is excellent!
I was terrified of dentists before I went to see this one. I hadn't been in 13 years. I have had to be sedated for treatment in the past, but I didn't find my treatment any where near as stressful as I thought it would be. The dentist is so patient with me as I am terrified of needles and took the time to explain through to me what treatment they were going to undertake. I had several white fillings and route canal. I felt absolutely no pain or discomfort. I even had 2 fillings to my front teeth and I wouldn’t be able to tell you where they are. They are absolutely invisible. I did pay for my treatment (the fillings and route canal) but it was worth every penny. I am more than satisfied with the treatment I received. I can not recommend this dentist enough. They are exceptionally professional, kind and patient. What could have been improved? Absolutely nothing.
