How is Your
Research shows people with nice teeth are perceived
as being smarter, more successful and they get more dates.
Why are Teeth so Important?
Teeth make more of a lasting impression than any other facial feature. For around 30% of people it’s the first thing they notice. The first thing that most people zone in on when assessing a potential partner is their teeth.
An attractive smile has a positive effect on one’s career, social life, and overall self esteem.
Research has shown that even infants are drawn to people with attractive smiles more than to those generally perceived as unattractive.
The appreciation of beauty is uniquely human capability and plays a central role in
all our lives. Beauty is seen through a person’s smile.
Now you know why this is important. I’ll talk about what options are available to help you achieve a beautiful smile.
How can you Have a Great Smile
The simplest and most cost effective place to start for many people is tooth whitening.
If your teeth are a bit uneven or perhaps you have one tooth longer than the others or with uneven edges you need to look at re-contouring or dental bonding.
For people whose teeth are crooked you can have your teeth straightend using orthodontic procedures.
Silver fillings can make even a pretty smile unattractive. Simply replacing these with tooth coloured, “White” fillings can transform your appearance.
If you have lost a tooth or two, this will have a significant impact on the overall look of your smile, not to mention making eating uncomfortable, missing teeth can be replaced using dentures, implants or a bridge.
Using porcelain crowns and veneers can improve the shape, length and shade of your teeth. If you have teeth that are too short, too thick, too thin, misaligned, possibly combined with orthodontic procedures can sort it all out for you.
Combining these procedures in a manner which is optimised for you and customised to your needs will make you look younger and more attractive as well as improving the way you feel about yourself and how you are perceived personally and professionally.
